Hans Edward Hammonds (f.1983) is a visual artist based in Stavanger Norway. Hammonds has a Master in Fine Arts from Elam School of Fine Arts at The University of Auckland in New Zealand. His practice focuses on performance and installation in addition to relational aesthetics and participatory art projects. Through his work he explores different forms of collaboration, interaction and participation. Hammonds recent works include kinetic sound sculptures, performance art as well as a series of art projects exploring flat structure in when working with youth and children. He has shown works at National Museum of Norway, Stavanger Kunstmuseum, National Art Exhibition in Norway, Vestlands exhibition. He is part working board at the artist run space Velferden Sokndal Scene for Samtidskunst.
