This work was produce as part of the Occupy Landscape series produced by Galleri Artilleri. The exhbition series was made in response to the sale of the Barbara Hepworth sculpture Figure for Landscape by Kunsthall Stavanger.
The inscribed words 'jaja' translates to english as 'yes yes', 'oh-well' or 'whatever'. The phrase is used frequently in Norwegian and espechially in the south-western part of Norway. The chosen material is based on the abundance of rock in the area, due to new construction, reclaiming land and the tunnels being dug in the area.
